[interface] is a conceptual media player UI designed for the iPod Classic form factor.Originally designed for a (now scrapped) Rockbox project, [interface]'s design language aimed to be a mixture of techno-minimalism and sci-fi, using a high-contrast palette and organizing information in a dense, yet functional layout. Since [interface] would be running on hardware from the 2000s, there was a desire to emulate a physical dead-front display, with labels/icons being barely visible unless active/backlit; akin to a segmented display.Designed in 2025, with functional prototype build TBD
